Dan Smith

Dan Smith is a veteran of the United States Army. He served from 1969-1971 during the Vietnam War, and he achieved the rank of sergeant E-5. Smith earned the Purple Heart, Purple Heart Oak Leaf Cluster, and Bronze Star for his service. 

This profile of Army Veteran Dan Smith is the product of a collaboration between Eagle Valley Student Media and VFW Post 10721 Minturn for Veterans Day 2020 and the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress.
