Garrett Fonda

Garrett Fonda is a veteran of the United States Army. He served from 1967 to 1987, including the Vietnam War. Fonda’s highest rank was Lieutenant Colonel, and he earned the Airborne, Ranger, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, three Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medal, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star.

This profile of Army Veteran Garrett Fonda is the product of a collaboration between Eagle Valley Student Media and VFW Post 10721 Minturn for Veterans Day 2020 and the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress.
